The Messiah was first introduced to foreigners whose faraway quest ended in a Bethlehem manger. What are the oft-ignored lessons from this watershed event?
Wow, this was excellent. Thank you, I learned a lot. And that link was a blessing, to see eyes being opened, and how to witness effectively, and once they know...the forbidden verses, they cannot be hidden or erased from their minds. We can pray that all who are hearing BELIEVE and repent and be saved, and then reach others. Know what I call Santa Claus...satan claws. If people only knew...what he really symbolizes. I didn't. But, through you and many other witnesses, they are learning Blessings to you and all who are sharing THE REAL TRUTH, and our REAL Messiah! JESUS CHRIST! OUR GOD REIGNS!
I was astounded how many things were "leavened", even my first church at about 6 years old, served IHS, NOT GOD. But I did earn my first Bible, and learned about Jesus, and knew the Bible was true! Then, praying for understanding, He leads us to the scriptures that chew up those leavenings, giving us spiritual insight. What a wonderful God we serve. The most damaging to me was those Left Behind movies, and pre-trib lies, which have led many astray. Glad we can all share God's wisdom, & dispel the lies of man's so called wisdom. Thanks for sharing. God bless you richly! We ARE approaching the end of history, and oh, for the day we can share together in the New Jerusalem, the Holy City! Such a shouting we shall hear, never heard by mortal ear...changed in the twinkling of an eye, as death gives way to VICTORY IN JESUS!
Jews do study Isaiah 53 and interpret it quite differently than Christians--the original Hebrew is also very different than English. Israel Rosenberg has written a book on this topic that may be worth a look to you.

Yes, after all these years on earth I can’t believe it was only last year that I found out that Red Santa is the red Satan.
All you have to do is take the N out of the middle of Santa and put it at the end. It was in front of my eyes for decades.

Yes. I need to check why the Hebrew is different. I suspect the Christian Old Testament relied on the Septuagint in this particular case.
