Hello Dr Maavak,

Happy to hear that the Lord gave you rest and travelling mercies. I pray for God's guidance and wisdom in your decision making processes.

Your situation reminds me of the same issue I went through. I eventually came to the decision to just drop it all and concentrate on my husband and four children.

I believe that decision was right for me but it may not be right for you. The key, I believe is to know what your calling is.

Is God calling you to be a watchman? Then I suppose this is burden you will have to bear.

The Lord expects a lot from his watchmen (looking at examples of Ezekiel, Jeremiah ect).

They however had to do it in the strength of God. Just like the Lord told the apostle Paul, "my grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness ".

Like the famous quote says " the only thing it takes for evil to prevail, is for good men to do nothing ".

I pray the Lord guides you.. Because there aren't many good men left!

Stay blessed In Christ Jesus our Lord!

We look forward to your observations after you are well-rested and hopefully relaxed in both mind and body. And wasn't it Ecclesiastes who tells us to not be over-responsible...why should you wear yourself out ?...definitely words to that effect at least.

Godspeed Doctor as your weariness heals.

A note; contests such as you won were old spy agency recruiting tricks.

The "spies" I detected were all working for the West, though they cloaked themselves under the clarion call of south-south/BRICS cooperation; an alternate world order (whatever that means) and of course; some perfunctorily militant anti-Zionism. It was so easy to mark them out. These were mainly the "experts".

But the overwhelming majority of the essay finalists were more on the technical side and generally interested in making contacts, sharing ideas and in my case, see how Russia was progressing on the technical front.

Will be interested in your next essay certainly.

Rest well

I forgot to say, when I started a comment, I got kicked right out, offline, back to the E-mail interface and had to refind this to try again. Ha ha. Have to learn to laugh at the enemy's underhanded tactics, and plow right along, determined to not be kicked out, but try, try again. LOL. I'm trying to be more lighthearted about it, instead of angry and sad, because that is what they want. NOPE! THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH! in Jesus' love...Crystal

Always praying for strength and infilling, without which we can do nothing. I was also heavily weighed down by learning of all the evil in the world that never stops...until their time has come, that is. I had to stop and spend more time in the Word, and was reminded of two verses, well, many, but two prevalent ones. After all, they are seeking to "wear out the saints", and I got well worn, wanting to stop everything. We all need breaks to recoup & rest...(Isaiah 30:15 explains well also- For thus sayeth the Lord God, the Holy one of Israel, in returning and in rest shall ye be saved,..in quietness and in confidence shall be thy strength.) The main scripture is: Phil. 4:8 - Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (I left out several whatsoevers to shorten). So I take long praise walks in the desert, singing and praying and it sure gives uplifts. We have to get "refilled" to continue on, and He inhabits our praises. But we also need to know our enemy, to not be deceived by his/their lies and deceits. Even the tiredness all have felt who share His Words of life to those who don't want to hear them, is expressed in a scripture I'd have to refind, where they were tempted to just quit sharing. (But couldn't, like us) That trip sounded like a God-send, even though wearying in itself. Oh, the 2nd scripture was one of Paul's admonitions about sharing none other than what the Moses and the prophets of old said, and Jesus. (memory only) Thank you for sharing, and it's good to see pictures--wow! I've never been able to travel, but now can see most anywhere in the world THIS way, by those who share. Bless you, and I am so grateful for all your sharing, caring, and faith and work in the service of our King. I do think we are heading down the home stretch, and won't have to persevere a whole lot longer. ONE DAY AT A TIME. prayers for continued blessings for you and all watchmen, whom are all weary at times. One day we will enter His rest FOREVER, and it will have ALL been worth it. Especially if a few more are saved by our witnessing and perseverance.
